I raise our labradoodles in our home which is a huge undertaking. It takes effort and money to produce puppies as high quality as ours. Temperament, health, conformation and coat quality are a priority for us. It is our hope that you will find your Desert Waves labradoodle well worth the price!
Meeting Your New Family Member
We schedule appointments for each waiting family to visit the litter and choose their puppy at about 6-7 weeks of age. We help them make the best decision for their family. We can do this via email and teleconference if necessary, but families should plan to come either for the Selection Day or for Puppy Pick Up Day (and better yet both!).
We spend about 1 1/2 hours going over your puppy’s Go-Home Binder during our Puppy Pick Up Day class.
During the course of raising your puppy we also send a number of emails full of information you need to get you ready for your puppy to come home.
Fees
A Desert Waves Australian Labradoodle is: $3,100.00
- A deposit of $500.00 is required to place a reservation on our Future Litters Waiting List. The remaining balance is due once your litter is born. We present you with openings in our litters. You have a choice of which litter you want your reservation moved into.
- All of our puppies are sold with our Puppy Contract.

- A Puppy Binder with all of your puppy’s information

Policies
We endeavor to breed genetically sound dogs. The Health Testing Of Our Breeding Dogs Includes:
- Hip clearances by PennHip or OFA
- OFA Elbows
- CAER eye exam
- Genetic Testing for PRA (prcd) which can be cleared by parentage
- Genetic Testing for Exercise Induced Collapse
- And other health tests
I also do countless hours of research and analysis on the bloodlines of every dog we add to our breeding program. You can be sure we’ve chosen the parents of your puppy carefully.
We use science-based methods to raise your puppies for optimal health and temperament.
